History/历史:
The Wat Dak Khanon Phra Somdej amulet was discovered at B.E. 2530. It was made from the sacred powder of Somdej Toh, which Luang Phu Yu brought by boat to Wat Pak Khlong Makham Tao and offered to Luang Phu Suk for special consecration. This set of amulets was created by Luang Phu Yu of Wat Dak Khanon, a highly respected and spiritually powerful monk known for his miraculous powers. He was also a close friend of Luang Phu Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Tao and Luang Phu Khong of Wat Bang Kraphi. They frequently visited each other to exchange knowledge and skills, to the point that they were considered equally skilled. Therefore, it's not surprising that Luang Phu Suk provided top-quality materials and participated in the creation of this amulet. This includes the consecration ceremony. The Phra Somdej amulets, once completed, were placed beneath the base of the main Buddha statue in the temple. Over time, the amulets were unearthed because the main Buddha statue was too damaged to repair. The temple committee decided to demolish and rebuild it, and during this process, the Phra Somdej amulets were found overflowing from beneath the base of the statue. Luang Phor Phon, the abbot at the time, then distributed them for merit-making and to various temples in the area to raise funds for the temple construction. Some people, unaware of the facts, mistakenly believed them to be Phra Somdej amulets of Luang Phor Phon. Later, those who used them experienced many miracles, leading villagers to nickname them "Phra Somdej 'Yu-Suk'," meaning that those who possess them will survive, be safe, and be happy. Locals say that these Somdej amulets from Wat Dak Khanon were created and placed there by Luang Phu Yu of Wat Dak Khanon, Chai Nat, who was a contemporary of Luang Phu Suk of Pak Khlong and Luang Phu Khong of Bang Kraphi. He was younger than the other two, with Luang Phu Khong being the most senior. The three of them often visited each other, though the purpose is unclear. People in the Chai Nat province called them Khong-Yu-Suk, the three revered masters of the Tha Chin River basin. Before becoming the abbot of Wat Dak Khanon, Luang Phu Yu studied Buddhist scriptures at Wat Bang Khun Phrom and received a considerable amount of sacred powder and fragments of broken Somdej amulets from the abbot of Wat Bang Khun Phrom at that time. He then used these holy materials to create his own Somdej amulets. According to accounts passed down by elders, Luang Phu Yu was skilled that he could use his bare hands to hold red-hot iron church bolts like tongs and hammer. His amulets are considered unique compared to other Somdej amulets because, in addition to their spiritual power... In addition to its standard properties of attracting good fortune and popularity, this Somdej amulet also possesses considerable protective powers. A recent incident, reportedly from Nakhon Sawan province, involved a criminal surrounded and shot at close range by police, yet none of the guns fired. The criminal was wearing a single Somdej Dak Khanon amulet around his neck. This demonstrates its widespread acceptance for its powers of attraction, protection, and invincibility. Furthermore, these amulets generally show traces of their original burial site/瓦達卡儂寺的崇迪佛牌於佛歷2530年被發現。
