Past experience/
This is the first edition of Luang Phor Pae's amulet. Luang Phor Pae was highly experienced in the miraculous powers of Buddhism in all aspects. One widely recounted story is from 1962, when a prisoner from Bang Kwang Prison was sentenced to execution by firing squad with a Blackmann submachine gun. However, no matter how many times they fired, the bullets wouldn't discharge. Correctional officers searched the prisoner for something protective and found a first-edition amulet of Luang Pho Pae in his right armpit. When the amulet was removed, the bullets easily killed the prisoner.
Another story dates back to around 1972, when a group of about 10 Thai volunteers, former conscripts, went to Cambodia as mercenaries to fight for the Khmer Rouge (communist) side. Only one survived and returned to Thailand and the others were died. The survivor attributed his survival to the power of the first-edition amulet of Luang Phor Pae that he wore. This also led to the amulet becoming known as the "Luang Phor Pae Khmer Rouge Edition."
